who doesn't love a brass band?

Post by stuck »

This piece:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_magnum_ ... Lauridsen)
is a choral piece but if you like the sound of a brass band then you'll probably enjoy this instrumental version:

Watch out for the comedy element at about 3:30-3:40, where member of the audience behind the conductor obviously found the volume at that point a bit too much for her.

Never mind that!

Who doesn't love having their musical entertainment being blown wide open?

Again.

Thanks, Ken.

Thanks for sharing the link, Ken. I don't think I have ever heard that piece before. I listened to a few other versions of it and particularly enjoyed this one. The ASMR high I experienced when the organ kicked-in at about 3:35 and following was pleasantly intense. I think this will be my new ear-worm for the coming week.
Regards,
Paul

Thanks Paul; I have added this to my collection.
But "organ"?
Does Canada now get to boast about the world's first Brass Organ?
Cheers
