I couldn't see anything in it  apart from the obvious clue to his previous employment by Microsoft :flee:

The good news is that he was given a date (16 January) so he can scout the best returns in the short-term money market which might earn him enough interest to pay for the entrance ticket to the museum to see his own work.
Whether or not he smuggles in a can of paint to do a reverse-Banksy is up to him, of course.

Cheers
Chris.

There is also precedent: "Robert Rauschenberg produced, in 1951, a series of white paintings, seemingly "blank" canvases (though painted with white house paint) that in fact change according to varying light conditions in the rooms in which they were hung, the shadows of people in the room and so on."

I wonder how much the composer John Cage got paid for the various performances of his 4' 33" silent 'composition'?

And I am reminded of Andy Warhol's "Art Is What You Can Get Away With"... :flee:

In terms of conceptual art there is a long tradition of artists making people think, rather than painting pretty pictures

Bring and wear your "rose" colored glasses next time. The canvas will not be blank ie white.
Regards,
John
