Another poem for a depressingly rainy day.

And a programmer who debugged a VBA procedure in his module said, Speak to us of Updates.
And he downloaded:
    Your computer is not your computer.
    It is the product of Microsoft’s Marketing itself.
    It stays not with you but passes through you,
    And though it is with you yet it changes on a daily basis.
    You may give it your algorithm but not your ideas,
    For it has its volatile DLLs.
    You may store your algorithm, but not its execution,
    For the code dwells in the clouds of tomorrow, which you cannot control, not even with your license.
    You may strive to be stable, but seek not to like the results.
    For DLLs stay not stable nor retain the interface of yesterday.
    You are the platform which Microsoft evaluates, as updates are sent forth.
    Microsoft Marketing transcribes the runes upon the napkin in The Commissariat,
        and plagues you with a widget that their ideas may be recognized by the CFO.
    Let your debugging in the hours of darkness be for Microsoft’s feedback;
    For even as Microsoft loves the revenue that flows, so It loves also your future that promises profitability.

:weep:
There's nothing heavier than an empty water bottle
