Hi Kate,

How nice to see you here! Thank you very much for registering and posting a message.

Your mother made our predecessor, Woody's Lounge, very special, and when we learned of her demise late in 2004, I and many other Loungers were deeply saddened by this news.
We're glad and proud to keep her name alive in this board.
Best wishes,
Hans

Just to let you all know again how much this site means to me. I miss my mum very much, and it's so good to know that her memory lives on. Sometimes when I'm thinking of her, I Google her and read all her old messageboard posts. I imagine that if she knew I was doing that, she'd get a chuckle out of it.

Thanks again.

Kate
Good to hear from you, Kate! Your Mum will always be in the forefront of the minds of all of us who "knew" her!

Good to see you here. As mentioned by others, Eileen was crucial in shaping the Lounge community, making it a very special place.

Hope this isn't out of place here but did Eileen used to publish an Access newsletter from Woody's, I believe it was?

There was a Woody's Access Watch newsletter (now Access Watch) but it wasn't Eileen who published it; Helen Feddema was / is the driving force behind it.
Best wishes,
Hans
