Of course she can, but the probability of winning any award at law is probably is as small as the probability of winning the jackpot. Casinos are cash cows for politicians and benefit from their protection in the way laws are written. The casinos, if sued, are likely to bring the slot machine manufacturers into the lawsuit and they are likely to have industry associations with excellent legal counsel.

Yes, she can sue. But, I doubt very seriously that she can get anything from it. More likely is that the industry will find a way to give her some compensation without publicity and without admitting any fault.
