I've seen Esc being mentioned as alternative to Ctrl+Break, but it has never worked for me...
Best wishes,
Hans

You could always compromise. I use a laptop as I travel quite a lot. When I'm at home I have an external monitor, keyboard and mouse connected to it.

The laptop is back ($150) with a lovely clean screen that was, until a few hours ago, mercifully free of greasy fingerprints.

I checked out prices of systems in the store while I was there.
I can get a small chassis that is better than this laptop for about $160, and a monitor for about $200.
Tempting.

The size of the monitor is a concern. I'd have to be sure that it would fit INTO my escritoire, and that, I suppose, I could remove the base.
I'm fascinated by the thought of having the back wall of my little bureau taken up by wall-to-wall screen!

Cheers

Never mind the size, you need two of them.

+1

I have my desktop monitor and and LED TV as a second monitor. It's amazing how handy the second screen is. So much so that I wonder if having a wall of them might not be fun.
