Windows XP File Utilites

Post by Reimer »

A co-worker has a rather extensive folder structure and is looking for a way to get a printout that would show the following:
Names and file space taken for all folders under the chosen folder.
If possible, the last time a file was either modified or added to each folder.
May need to have the information quartely.

Free is preferred.

Thanks.

Hans,

Great product. I did quick test on my PC and it does most of what he wants with very few clicks.
I brought the install file to his PC and tried to run it -but he does not have Admin priv on his pc -so no go.
He is contacting our Service Desk so they can install it on his pc.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

See what you think of TreeSize Free. (I'm not sure what it costs, though...)

TreeSize Free only works with local disks, you need one of the paid versions for network drives.
Best wishes,
Hans

Looks like either of the two mentioned will work AFTER he can get in installed.
I think we will ust go with Karen's software -already downloaded and very impressive.

Thanks for the input - I LOVE THIS PLACE. (Actually you guys/gals -the place does not matter much)

Enjoy
