I'm presently using http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and happy with it, though I'm back a few versions as later versions do not seem to like my fully patched XPMCE.
Looking for alternative recommendations. Freeware preferred, but moderate cost OK.

I use the Pro version of RoboForm Password Manager mostly because I paid for it and could not find anything I thought was worthwhile when I decided.
I've also seen some good reviews of KeePass Password Safe.

If you can cope with the equivalent of a text file, try LockNote. It is effectively an encrypted executable file, which requires a password to open up a Notepad-like editor.

I too have a fully patched XPMCE and I too use Password Safe but I've not noticed any problems.Goshute wrote:later versions do not seem to like my fully patched XPMCE.
Mind you I'm not a heavy user of this app so perhaps my version is also a bit behind the times. I'll try to remember to check when I get home tonight.

Re: Password & Private Information keeper software
I have v3.20 and it works fine on my XPMCE, or at least I think it does. It has always opened my 'safe' when I enter the combination and my passwords are all OK.Goshute wrote:I'm on 3.12. The current version is 3.23.
