TrueCrypt 7.0

A new major version of TrueCrypt, v 7.0, was announced on 19 July. It supersedes v6.3a, which was available in November last year.

I note the reduction in support for floppy disks...

Past experience shows that it might be worth waiting a month or two for a possible rapid update to 7.0a, unless you Really Need the new features available in v7.0.

Thanks! None of the new features in 7.0 appear to be must-haves for me, so I'll stick with 6.3a for the moment

I will also wait a few weeks on this one. 6.3a works well for me and there is nothing new that I need in 7.0
