Hi, I have not done anything with this before, so outside of the basic marquee tag (or whatever it should be called :) ) I am lost.
However, what I would like to do is to have a basic file (*.txt perhaps) that a marquee would use for its content.
This is so a non-PC literate person can put a message (on our intranet webpage) without having to delve into HTML.
Is there a way of doing this?
TIA

Re: Marquee content reference
A Google search turns up this:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/emarquee.htm
The script includes a 'src' reference, which points to a .htm file but since such a file is plain text I guess it would work if the ref was to a .txt file.
However, I'm no web developer so don't quote me on this!

Excellant! That has done what I wanted, without lots of coding too! :)
