Acronis mounted drive: "You don't currently have permission"

Post by jmt356 »

I mounted my Acronis backup and went into my username folder and got the message "You don't currently have permission to access this folder." So I found from here http://forum.acronis.com/forum/9551" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that I shoudl remount the image in read and write mode and so I did, but I got the same message when clicking on the folder adn when I tried clicking "Continue" to "permanently get access to this folder," an hourglass appeared and nothing happened. I also tried right clicking the folder to look for a "security" tab, but found none.

I also tried following http://www.blogsdna.com/2159/how-to-tak ... dows-7.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but when I get to step 3 (Click on Edit button in Properties windows Click ok to confirm UAC elevation request) under Grant Permissions in Windows 7, I don't see Edit in Propertys or "confirm UAC elevation request."

Any other guidance is most appreciated.
