To avoid unnecessary panic: the problem occurs in the Docs.com service; this is a separate service from Microsoft OneDrive, the default storage location for Office 365 documents. So unless you have expressly uploaded documents to Docs.com, your confidential documents are not at risk.

Good to know, and thankful I do not use OneDrive for file storage.
