My wife and I each have a PC that is running FastMail for our email handler. In my copy of FastMail there is the main toolbar that contains Get Messages, Write, Chat, etc. at the top. Below that is a toolbar that contains several message marking symbols and then a field for filtering messages.
That toolbar that contains the place for filtering messages is not visible and I haven't been able to find where to turn it on. Hopefully someone can help me!
Thanks,
Bill

Re: FastMail Status bar
I see I screwed up my message yesterday! We do use FastMail for email but that is where our mailboxes are located. We use Thunderbird as the app on each PC that handles our email and it is Thunderbird where I am trying to get the toolbars turned on correctly. So, how do I turn on the toolbar that contains the entry-field which is used to select which messages will be listed in the Thunderbird display?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill

According to this post you can use the shortcut Control-Shift-K to display the quick filter toolbar in Thunderbird
