Stop Autocomplete from changing my date entries

In an email or in the Note field of a contact, when I am typing a date, such as 10.22, pressing tab causes the date to transform to 10.22.2023. I believe this is due to Autocomplete. How do I disable this without disabling Autocomplete globally.

The solution discussed at https://eileenslounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=33701 and in other places on the Intrnet disables Autocomplete globally in Outlook. Is there a way to only prevent autocomplete for adding the year to dates without disabling Autocomplete globally?

Not that I know of. I mentioned that in 2019 too.

Please note that the update mentioned in that article applies to Excel, not to Outlook.
