Changing the default zoom when reading emails in the reading pane

The outlook reading pane is set to 100% zoom by default. Each time I read an e-mail in outlook, I manually change it to 110%. When I go to the next e-mail, it goes back to the 100% default. How do I change the zoom permanently?

Click on the zoom percentage instead of using the slider.
This opens a dialog.
Specify 110% and tick the check box "Remember my preference", then click OK.
