Rule to remove attachments

I tried to find a solution to this, also searched this forum, and I am afraid this is not possible. But still: you never know.

I regularly send emails that contain an attachment (lesson material) from a designated account.
I would like to keep those emails (to prove they have been sent) but remove their attachment with a rule after sending them.
Outlook does not seem to have that option.

Is there a rule to automatically remove the attachments while keeping the emails?
