Sign off disappears

I have a few signatures stored in Outlook 2010.
I usually sign off an email with 'Avagr8day', but when I insert one of my signatures, the ‘Avagr8day’ disappears. I can sign off with any other words and they stick.

That's puzzling - I cannot reproduce the problem.

Do you have a default signature?

No default, I just select from 9 stored signatures.
Yep sure is puzzling.
Workaround; I have included 'Avagr8day' in the stored signatures - that works.
