ISP's Switching From POP Servers to IMAP Servers
For those who use Outlook as your email client can you tell me what changing from a POP server to an IMAP server would do to the way my Outlook.PST file is displayed? Would I still see all my folders I have setup in Outlook the way I see them now if I had to switch to that IMAP incoming and outgoing servers? What about my contacts? Would they still be displayed the same? Would Outlook still open the profiles PST file?

Re: ISP's Switching From POP Servers to IMAP Servers
IMAP stores information in an .ost file instead of in a .pst file.
You will still be able to open existing .pst files, and you'll be able to transfer messages, contacts, appointments etc.
See Convert from a POP3 account to IMAP.
