3 email addresses in the one inbox in Outlook 2010?

Can I have 3 email addresses in the one inbox folder in Outlook 2010?
I assume that this can be done, but I have no idea how.

Which protocol do the accounts use?

It is possible to make multiple POP3 accounts use the same inbox, but IMAP (and Exchange) accounts always create their own, separate inbox.

But even if you have separate inboxes, you can use rules to move all the received emails to a single folder.
