A few of my emails arrive with a weird font. Probably about 1 in 30 emails arrive like this.
The font dialog says the font is Open Sans which I don't have on my computer.
I can't see anything these funny font emails have in common. It has been happening for well over a year, pretty annoying.
In case the font didn't arrive at the Lounge in the Word doc, I copied and pasted it as a pic.

Why not install Open Sans on your computer, so you can avoid the substitution which Windows is performing when it realises that there's no Open Sans to display the email in?

Are you asking how to change the font as it appears in your Outlook?
Or how to stop it annoying you?
I have uploaded your picture as a direct attachment so that other users don't have to download your Word document to view it:

Re: Weird font for some emails
If you don't want to install Open Sans, you could view all incoming messages as plain text.
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings... > Email Security > tick both check boxes under Read as Plain Text (the second one becomes enabled after you tick the first one).

That looks like what the old Elite typewriter put out.

Re: Weird font for some emails
This appears to have been lost in translation.
The font is weird and makes the email almost unreadable.
It doesn't appear to have come through in my attachment. So I have attached it as a pic (which is what I thought I did the 1st time).
It only happens with a few emails, most looking as they should.

Re: Weird font for some emails
Thanks Hans. I Installed Open Sans and now can't see any funny emails.
Pretty obvious solution, should have tried that earlier.
But as usual Hans got the obvious way before me.

Yes, Hans, but the fact that you suggested it actually gave the suggestion credibility and validity!
