Cannot connect to Exchange after password change

Post by jmt356 »

My organization required me to reset my password. Now, Outlook will not connect to Exchange because it not have my new password. Normally, I get prompted for my new password when I launch Outlook. However, Outlook is not prompting me for my new password. It just says, "Need Password" on the bottom right. When I click on "Need Password," a window flashes quickly on my screen and disappears. I believe it is a window to enter my password, but before I can see it or enter anything, it disappears. Is there some other way to manually enter my password into Outlook so it can connect to MS Exchange?
Regards,

JMT

You have not stated what version of Outlook you are using, but if you were to go to the Account settings you can enter the new password there.

That link refers to changing a password in IMAP and POP3 accounts. I have an MS Exchange account. I do not believe I can manually enter a new password.

Then you need to contact your organization IT for the method needed.
