I turned on my laptop this morning and found that Outlook 2016 had been updated without my previous knowledge or permission. The color theme is different and I am constantly being prompted to enter my MS Office email address and password.
However, when I go to Installed Control Panel/Programs/Programs and Features/Updates, I do not see an update for Outlook 2016. Is it possible it could have been updated without leaving a log in Updates?
Is there a way to roll back the update and revert to the version I had installed yesterday?
I am using Version 1912 of MS Office Professional Plus 2016, not Office 365.
Updates in Outlook appear to have been installed yesterday

The last update for Office 2016 C2R was on January 14 - it is Version 1912 (Build 12325.20298).
The last update for Office 2016 MSI was also on January 14: KB4484221.
Do you see the update in the Reliability History? (To activate this, click the Start button or press the Windows key, then type reliability and press Enter)

Hans,
I believe I have Office 2016 C2R. About Outlook shows I have Version 1912 (Build 12325.20288), so I guess I don't have the latest build.
Reliability Monitor shows Office 2016 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component and Localization Components successfully reconfigured on 2020.1.17 and on 2020.1.14.

You could try File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to see if the latest version improves things.

C2R installations update automatically and do not need user permission. You give permission by having updates turned on.
