Shortcut Keys in Google Chrome Bookmarks Tab

When in the Google Chrome list of bookmarks, the shortcut “B” opens up a bookmarks tab. I do not want this result; rather, I want the cursor to highlight the bookmark that begins with the letter “B.” Is there any way to de-program Google Chrome’s default pre-programmed shortcut to the letter “B”?
