Cleaning up Google Maps

I just tried this.
It works great.
It gets rid of the elephant-sized search box top-left of Google Maps.

Now for the rest of the junk ...

Chris, I dunno if its unintentional, but your humour is so funny!

Cheers for the jumbo tip.

What a pity it couldn't go somewhere else - since I never used to display the Bookmarks toolbar!

Oh.
C'mon you guys.
Don't thank me.

Thank Alex Chan for his great work (and put pressure on him to get rid of all the other Google Crap on Google Maps).
Also thanks to all those humble electrons that keep Eileen's Lounge operating ... :clapping:

(later)
Is it my warped imagination or has Google Maps changed yet again?
The little "Toggle" script is ineffective AND 1/3 my screen is taken up with crud.
OTOH there is a button that hides almost all the crud ...

Yes, it has changed again and yes, the toggle script doesn't hide the junk any more but...

If you click on the 'collapse side panel' tab, i.e. the little left pointing arrow that sticks out the top right corner of the nonsense then the whole panel slides away leaving only a tab with a right facing arrow on it that lets you reveal it again - if you want to.

Thanks Stuck.
Yes, I saw the collapse and little arrow thing. I wanted to confirm that ToggleMaps was now inert.

Toggle maps still does something, it toggles the search bar at the top of the side panel.
