[10.0.2]
Evening -
Suddenly I am have problems with the Web - getting 'Problem loading page' messages. This happens within a web page, when I click a link.
I have disabled all Extensions--
Adblock Plus, 2.0.3
Close other tabs - 2.4
Flashblock 1.5.15.1
Foxit PDF Creator Toolbar 3.12.2.100007
Java Quick Starter 1.0
NoScript 2.3.2
NoSquint 2.1.5
Nuke Anything Enhanced 1.0.2
Even in Safe Mode I had message 'Server [Yahoo.com] not found'
None of these is newly downloaded. I have not downloaded any new program.
I have run antivirus. Clean
Any clue as to which extension might be the culprit? What might I do to continue my carefree happy clicking days?
Thank you!

Re: Problem loading page
Do you have problems with the same websites in another browser such as Internet Explorer or Chrome?
If so, there might be a general problem with your Internet connection.
Otherwise, the problem is specific to Firefox.
Some troubleshooting tips: Server not found.

Re: Problem loading page
Hi, Hans -
I had tried IE (8) and received "can't display page' I checked connectivity wizard and in the log saw 'network adapter successful.'
I have done a System Restore and still get these messages.
On the router, the Eternet button blinks away.
Perhaps this is Guru time?
(A second PC which is hooked up to this main one is not receiving these messages...)
I have Time Warner cable hookup. I can get my email without a problem. It's the web that gives me problems.

Re: Problem loading page
What happens if you type (or copy/paste) 74.125.235.83 into the address bar of your browser and press Enter? (It should take you to Google)
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Problem loading page
Yes, in Safe Mode it does. Should I have tried it with all the Extensions enabled?

Re: Problem loading page
Try enabling the extensions one by one - does the problem reoccur at some point?

Hans

Another thing you can try is specifying a different DNS server.
Good ones are Google Public DNS and OpenDNS (both provide clear instructions on how to use them).
