Some links won't work

Post by Leif »

My other half is having a problem getting certain links to work.
For example, Barclays Bank has an icon to Log In top right. Clicking on it has no effect, but she can right-click and select 'Open link in new tab' and it works.
On my (supposedly identical) installation of FF, clicking on it opens a new instance of FF with the new page in it.

What's the magic setting I've overlooked? It's not the 'Block Popup Windows' or 'Open new windows in a new tab instead' settings....

It works for me - not a "time to clear Barclays cookies" thing, maybe?

As I said above, it works for me too!

Nope - already done.

However, un-installing the ZoneAlarm Toolbar ('Forcefield' thingy) seems to have resolved it - there must be a setting preventing one site opening up another (barclays.co.uk > ibank.barclays.co.uk) type thing. If I find anything more I shall report back...

Using Firefox 3.6 here and I've found that 'sometimes' a link won't work - the only way I've gotten it going is to close firefox down and restart it - then the same link works. Maybe a memory issue?
