Auto Log-Off

Post by BobH »

I'm being automatically logged out of Eileen's Lounge and other websites that used to allow me to remain connected. To my recollection, I've changed no options here or at the other sites that would cause this; ergo I suspect Firefox. I think started with version 61.0.0 but it might have been an earlier version. I made no note of when the issue arose.

I've pored through the Firefox options and found nothing obvious to me that would cause this, ie, no "Log off after nn minutes" option. If the cause is buried in things like proxy settings I'm at a loss because I do not understand what all those settings do.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, have you found out how to fix it? It is very annoying to leave for a few minutes time on another web page and return to find that I must log in again.

Specifically look at the Cookies and Site Data settings.
Make sure cookies are set to "Keep until they expire", and not "Keep until Firefox is closed".
