Have you ever wondered what cookies are put on your pc when browseing. ?
If you run CCleaner then go to a web site and play with it for a few minutes, then open CCleaner and have a look at Cookies on the Option's tab.

I have an addon in Firefox called View Cookies.

If you right-click on a page you're browsing, then select Page Info, a tab has been added that shows the cookies added by that page.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Interesting. Thanks, Al.
I noticed that the Lounge has about four cookies due to expire today?

Or, to put it more accurately, Bob's PC has four Lounge cookies which are due to expire today!

You can view cookies in Firefox itself by going to Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab -> History -> Show cookies button, then scroll down to the websites and click on the preceding [+]...

The Lounge cookies have different expiration dates. One cookie will expire when the current session ends, others today or within the next few days, and most next year or the year after.
Best wishes,
Hans

Uh Huh, you're correct John. That's FIVE clicks and a fair amount of scrolling to find out the cookies on a specific page.

The addon simplifies that process and for as long as I've had it installed has caused no problems.

Following John's instructions, I went to the cookies page in Firefox tools and deleted all of them. I'm going to keep a log of how the action impacts my browsing (at least to the extent that I can determine any impact).

I tried to post this and was immediately told that I must login to the lounge. I started a Notepad list and will keep track as best I can. The automatic logoff here was the first entry.

Yep, Eileen's Lounge sets a cookie when you log in. This is used to remember your logged in status. If you delete the cookie, the browser doesn't "know" you're logged in any more, so you'll have to log in again.
Best wishes,
Hans
