I use a local application that is written in HTML for reference. It has a search feature but it is now being blocked. I would like to enable this feature but I have no idea where or how to do this. I'm assuming it can be done. :)
Here's a screenshot of the error when clicking on the Search box in the application:

Re: Blocked HTML Search in IE
I believe that because it is an html file your computer is using your IE security settings for the web. Now I don't know too much about what settings would need to be adjusted, but have you made any changes recently?
Also, is this a corporate machine? In which case your IS Dept may have pushed a new Group Policy that is affecting you.

Who will you Inspire today?

This looks like a message from Java. See How do I control when an untrusted applet or application runs in my web browser?
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Blocked HTML Search in IE
The security setting was already on "High", so I moved it down to "Medium". I now get another block message. I tried clicking on the "Ignore" but no joy. I also tried clicking the "reload" but still no go. Here's the error details:HansV wrote:This looks like a message from Java. I think the developer of the Java app will have to solve this, not you...
