Extract New Parts

Hi

I have to extract certain lines from exported text files ( as attached ) which contain new parts.
Any line starting with 070 is a new part.
The text file contains fixed length fields which are padded where no data exists so I think it's possible to measure each field to extract.
The data I require from the extracted lines are:
Once extracted populate an unbound lest box.

The PNG shows field lengths in brackets.
Where do I start ?

I would start by creating an import specification for text that matches the columns that you have determined. That will get the data into a table where you can manipulate the data in whatever fashion you need to.
