I have recently started using my new laptop with Win 7, and both Office 2007 and 2010. (I am still using 2007)
The first time I open any database, I get a Broken References message, as below, and then see the standard symptoms of broken References. That does not surprise me. However when I go to the VBA Editor, Tools References, none of them are missing.
And the location listed for the Outlook Reference is correct.
So I click the Browse button, navigate to the Office 2010/Office 14 folder, select MSOUTL.OLB again, and the problem is fixed.
Mystery to me.

Re: Broken Outlook References
I guess this is one of the quirks of installing two versions of Office on the same PC. It's better to create different boot partitions, each with a single version of Office.
Best wishes,

Re: Broken Outlook References
In addition to different boot partitions, if your version of Windows 7 (Professional or higher) supports Virtual PC you can have both running without rebooting.
