Hi,
The company that writes our clinical database is looking into "document type databases" to use to build the reporting feature for various data that comes off of our visit notes. They have been looking at "Mongo" as well as others. Typically, I use access to connect to the tables that they use in their software to customize reports and run data. Does anyone know whether or not Access will connect to document type databases such as Mongo and if so, can you suggest a few brands that work the best so they can look into them.
Thanks,
Leesha

Re: Document Type Database
I have no experience whatsoever with document-oriented databases, so I can't offer much help. I know that M (aka MUMPS) is specifically used in the medical world, and that there is an ODBC driver for at least one implementation of it. See MUMPS links.
Best wishes,
Hans
