Great graphs

Post by agibsonsw »

Hello. (Excel 2003 and 2007).
Would someone recommend a (free) graphing application to create cool 2D and 3D graphs?

I know a bit of effort in Excel can create reasonable results, but the graphs don't compare to those
you see on the news or in newspapers.

I doubt you'll find free ones - at best a limited free trial download...
Best wishes,

How do you define 'cool'? 3D charts generally are a crime against information.

My favorite 2D charts are the ones created by Hans Rosling, you can create your own at http://www.gapminder.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
