Cell background turned into black

Hello everyone
I have installed office professional plus 2024 and when trying to type anything inside the cell, it turned into black .. How to fix that?

Does it correct itself if you press Page Down then Page Up?

I didn't get your question well. the problem occurs only when editing the cell so if I pressed page down then page up, the selection goes to another cell and the background returns to normal mode.

If you press Page Down while editing a cell, the active cell remains the same but you add a cell reference to its contents.

There are more recent reports of this problem, so it might be a bug in Excel.
You can report it from within Excel: Help > Feedback > Report a problem
