I'm using Libre Calc for my electricity consumption tracking workbook. I have been in the habit of cloning a new month's spread sheet in the workbook from the last one. I first select the entire sheet by clicking the cell above the column that contains numbers for the rows in the spreadsheet. I then choose Edit > Copy then navigate to the new spread sheet and place the cursor at A1. I then select Paste Special and Paste Special again (IDK why Libre Calc requires 2 choices) and copy only formats. I repeat the process this time copying formulas, and finally choose Values and Formats on the third copy iteration
This has always worked without problems. I just started a new spreadsheet and now get error messages ending with this one:
Can anyone suggest a cause for this?

Re: Libre Calc - Cannot Save File
Did LibreCalc crash before? The filename includes "(AutoRecovered)"
Can you save to another folder?
Can you save to another folder?
Best wishes,

Re: Libre Calc - Cannot Save File
Apparently I lost the entire folder that the file was in. I can see the folder name but cannot display its contents.
I've begun a recovery process by creating an entirely new workbook with a different name and stored in a different directory. I've created a spreadsheet for each month and copied the formats, formulas and values from the workbook that I cannot save. I have the current year created, but getting the several years worth is going to be a time consuming process. I only pray that I don't have a power failure or a required reboot as I fear I will lose all that data.
The problem must have happened some time back because I cannot find the workbook in my backups; ergo the need to recreate each monthly spreadsheet.
