UI Editor for excel 2007 help

Post by ABabeNChrist »

I’m trying to customize a toolbar by using Ron de Bruin approach, but I have been unable to locate a list of the different controls similar to the one below

Code: Select all

<control idMso="Undo" size="large" />
this way I can pick and choose single selections

I think you'll find it on this page.
Sorry I can't be more specific - it's been a long time since I got my copy.

Thank you mbarron
I find it just where you mentioned
I looked there once earlier today and obviously missed it, it took a double take to see it.... :yikes:
Thank you again

I tried this tool and it worked excellent, but was limited

http://www.andypope.info/vba/ribboneditor.htm

I was looking at some other commands located on the QAT that are not on a normal ribbon but can be added to the QAT list that I like, here are a couple “Lock Cell, Light Shading, and Double Underline.
Is it possible to have these added as a single
<control idMso=
<button idMso=
<spinbutton idMso=
I tried different variations with no success

You should be able to add all controls available in Excel to the ribbon using that method, even the ones not visible on the ribbon.

At first I was having a hard time trying to figure out the correct spelling needed, there where way to many possibilities. I searched the internet with little to NO SUCCESS.
So I then went back to the QAT list to look for some possible clues, then all of a sudden, like magic I was having a vision right before my eyes
As soon as I put my cursor over desire command it would then reveal to me the needed ID

My feeling at first were a little mixed, a little excitement with a little Opps, how did I mess that
But all in all I’m feeling good.

Thank you Jan and mbarron for all your valued assistance
