Hello team,
I insert a pivot able on my data, pull a field for calculation such as sum, again I pull same field to do an average on the same field. Having said that, I needed to do two type of summarization on one field in a pivot table. How can I do that?

Re: pivot tables and fields in the calculation
What was the problem with placing the same field in the Values area twice?
Best wishes,
Hans

Hello Hans,
Thanks for the response. When I place the same field in the value are, it doesn't accept it.
While I used to do it and I didn't have any problems.

That's strange. It should still be possible. You can't add the same field twice to the Rows, Columns and Filter areas or any combination of those, but adding it to any of those areas and also to the Values area should be OK.
Best wishes,
Hans
