Error message - Excel found unreadable contents

Post by ABabeNChrist »

I have a workbook used for my reports. Everything seems to work as designed. When the report is completed I would then print selected sheets, then close and save. Then when I try to reopen this same workbook I receive this message.

So when I select Yes, it appears to repair and then opens workbook. I also receive this message.

I did not notice any changes within the workbook, but I am unable to save I have to Save As in order to save.
Does this sound like the file maybe corrupted or could it be something. I would sent a sample of workbook but it is very large.

It does sound as if the workbook has become corrupted.
If you save the repaired workbook with a new name, then close and reopen it, does it function normally or do you get the error message again?
Best wishes,
Hans

That would be great. I thought if a workbook gets corrupted that’s pretty much it.
I'll see how it works, put it threw the ringer you might say
