Can anyone confirm is this happens to you too?
Enter a small list into Excel. Add an icon set to the list, and then right click and filter for an icon. On my PC it creates an error and Excel closes!!
If one uses the filter arrows, it works fine...but the context menu causes a problem!
Please let me know if your PC does this or if its just an error in my installation.
Cheers

Re: Bug in Excel 2007
Yes, when I select "Filter by selected cell's icon" from the right-click menu, my Excel crashes too.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks for the confirmation.HansV wrote:Yes, when I select "Filter by selected cell's icon" from the right-click menu, my Excel crashes too.
PS: I have checked for this error in Excel 2010 and it has been fixed. Excel does not crash when the context menu is used to filter icon sets.
