I created a pivot table for my coworker to see his budget. He wanted it broken down to compare budgeted dollars to actual spending by Labor, Direct costs, by department and division, which I have done. He likes the table, however, the Budget and Actuals figures are on separate lines. The columns are titled Budget and Actuals, but the numbers are on separate rows.
He wants to see the budget numbers in the Budget column on the same line as the Actuals numbers in the Actuals column.
Can this be done?

Re: Format Pivot Table
Apparently, the Specific Resource Type has different categories for Actuals and Budget amounts, e.g. "D" vs. "Direct" and "LABOR" vs. "Labor-DT" and "Labor-Reg". With this setup, it will be difficult to place Actuals and Budget on the same row. To do that, you will have to apply the same categories to both.
Best wishes,
