Excel Page Break Preview
I find myself working in page break preview much more these days, a handy addition to my excel knowledge.... Is there a way to reduce the intrusion of the 'in your face' page numbers? Size or greyscale?

No, there is no way you can change the appearance of the page numbers in Page Break Preview. If you're using Excel 2007 (or later), you may want to try Page Layout view. Or use Normal view and change to Print Preview occasionally.
Best wishes,

Re: Excel Page Break Preview
Click on the first sheet tab, then Shift+click on the last sheet tab.
Alternatively, right-click on any sheet tab and select 'Select All Sheets' from the popup menu.
Changes to page setup, including headers and footers, will now apply to all sheets.
Don't forget to select a single sheet again when you're done.

I'm amazed that there is no way to reduce the greyscale. Hey ho, I guess I can live with it.HansV wrote:No, there is no way you can change the appearance of the page numbers in Page Break Preview. I now have 2007 on my work pc, but until they remove 2003, I'm in no rush to use it. I have enough to get my head around in my new role, without a brand new interface.....
