Afternoon all
I have a workbook of 5 sheets, 1 of them needs to be hidden, I have a button on a sheet with a simple hyperlink to the page, however when I hide the sheet I just cannot hyperlink to it. I have a similar set up in many other workbooks and it works OK. I have tried saving the workbook as something else, I have copied all of the data from each sheet and pasted into a new clean workbook but nothing seems to cure the problem, any ideas please?
Cheers

I don't see how this could work in other workbooks. You can't go to a hidden sheet, so a hyperlink to a cell on a hidden sheet won't work.
You could create a button that unhides the sheet and activates it.

Hi Hans
Thanks for that. I think I mixed up my terminology because I know realise that usually when I make an index I choose to hide all of the 'sheet tabs' and not the sheets themself, perhaps the question should be can I hide just one sheet tab?

If you display sheet tabs, you'll see a tab for each visible sheet. You can't hide the tab of a visible sheet.
Best wishes,

Do you have a button on the sheet, or a hyperlink in the cell, or a hyperlink on a button on the sheet?steveh wrote:Hi Hans

As Hans has mentioned, a hyperlink cannot jump to a hidden sheet. But a button with a macro can if the macro first unhides the sheet and then navigates to a cell on that sheet.
Something like:
Sheets("Sheet1").Visible = True
Range("A1").Select
