I am running win xp with all fixes applied and Excel 2003.
I turned my machine off for about two weekswhen i was on a trip. The first time I tried to use EXCEL after returning, no matter what I do I get a message message that has a yellow triangle and the message "Margins do not fit page size" - after that the spread sheet shows each Column by 8 Rows as a page.
When I try to change the print area I get the same message and sizing.
When I try to do anything with page sizes or layouts I get the same message.
Is there an embedded page size some where that I need to reset?
Any help will be appreciated

Re: Margins do not fit page size
Check the Printers and Fax Devices control panel to see if the default printer has changed.
If the default printer is correct, make sure that its paper settings are also correct (right-click the printer and select Properties from the popup menu).

Re: Margins do not fit page size
Thank you Hans - that was the problem (no default printer specified)
