TOA

Post by jmt356 »

I have a document with over 500 cases. Some of these I have not entered into the TOA. Is there a way to quickly identify which ones do not have TOA fields? I know I can go through each one one by one, but I am looking for a way to save time.

I don't know of a quick way to spot UNMARKED citations, but sometimes I globally highlight all of the fields in the document, and then I can at least spot the cites that ARE marked (which helps me to see any unmarked citations more easily).

How to:
Invoke Find and Replace window (stroke: Alt-E-E)
Find what: ^d (which is the "special" character for fields)
Replace with: (select "Highlight" in the "Replace" "Format" pull-down. fields will be highlighted with whatever color is currently selected for highlighting in the Home Tab, Font Group)

Be sure to globally un-highlight (w/Find and Replace) all the fields before final, or your TOA will have highlighting!
