In Word 2007, when I insert a cross-reference to a figure for example, the Cross-reference pane Insert reference to: shows Entire caption. Generally I want Only label and number. Is it possible to change this default behavior?
Same question for tables.

No, Word always displays the first item in the dropdown list.
