You may have noticed that if you go to File | Help after applying SP1 there is no indication other than the version number that SP1 has been applied. If you click on "Additional Version and Copyright Information" the legacy Help | About screen shows with SP1 indicated.

Re: Office 2010 SP1 Help | About
I have searched all over Word 2010 trying to customize the Quick Access Toolbar by adding "Help" to it and cannot find a way? Can this be done? While we are at it I also wasn't able to find an icon to add a "Close" button as I have on my machines with Office 2003 installed. Can this be done?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Office 2010 SP1 Help | About
Help is already present on the right hand side of the Word window, so there doesn't appear to be a pressing need to add it to the QAT:
However, it is available from the "Commands Not in the Ribbon" category:
The "Close or Exit" button is available from this category too:

Re: Office 2010 SP1 Help | About
Thanks Hans. I did see that button before I posted but unless I missed something I have not found a way for it to bring up what used to be the "Help" "About" and that is what I was looking for.
Again, thanks.

Re: Office 2010 SP1 Help | About
You are absolutely right, there is no need for it there because I still don't see it offering the "Help" "About" which was what I was looking for. I do know that it or something close to it can be found under the "Files" tab "Help" as the originl post in this topic shows.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Select 'All Commands' from the 'Choose commands from' dropdown.
Add the 'About' command to the commands displayed in the QAT.
