Office 2019 has been released

Office 2019 is generally available. It is a relatively minor update - it looks the same as Office 2016. The Windows version requires Windows 10. There is no OneNote 2019 - it is replaced by the Windows 10 version of OneNote.

If you have Office 365, it should be updated automatically from Office 2016 to Office 2019 soon.

The "perpetual license" version of Office 2019 adds most features that were added to the subscription version of Office 2016. It uses the same click-to-run technology used by Office 365.
