I just installed MS Office 2010. In Office 2007 there was a tool called diagnostics. It could be found in each office program as well as in the Office Tools folder.
Where is this tool located in Office 2010, since it is not located in the Office Tools folder?

Re: Office 2010 Diagnostics Tools
According to Changes in Office 2010:
Office Diagnostics
Office Diagnostics, also known as Customer Watson, is removed for all Office 2010 applications. Because of shifting resources, the focus must be on analysis and reporting features that have been proven beneficial for other teams. Users must now run the repair utility from the Control Panel.
Best wishes,

Hans,
It is not clear to me how ".. users must run the repair utility from the control panel ..", as there is no such item called "repair utility". I just reinstalled office 2010 and there get the choice to "repair"the exisitng isntallation, as was the procedure pre-office 2007. A pity!

Re: Office 2010 Diagnostics Tools
I guess "Because of shifting resources" means the budget for the team that developed/maintained the diagnostics tools was cut...
Best wishes,
