Uninstall add-ins before upgrading?

I am pondering the options for installation of Office 2010. If I decide to upgrade rather than do a clean install (I am pretty certain I will go with the clean install), should I uninstall add-ins which are compatible with Office 2007 but may not be compatible with Office 2010 before upgrading?

If you upgrade, I would uninstall those add-ins.

Thanks Hans. Just as I thought. There will be a natural delay before updated add-ons are available. I will stick with a side-by-side 2007 and 2010 installation for the time being.
