John,

I honestly don't recall 100% but I think the choices were Upgrade and Customize. I chose Upgrade, I'm fairly sure. As I mentioned, I still do have an Office12 folder but it's rather sparse, not nearly as full as the Office14 folder.

I did some Googling and found these articles which describe how to run 2007 and 2010 side by side:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/09/0 ... -together/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/808" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They are not from "official" sources so bear that in mind. I obviously haven't tried either one (They both appear to give the same tip) so I have no clue whether the tip works or not.

If you try this, I'd be curious to know if it works!

I have got the new computer. Office 2007 seemed to disappear pretty quickly after 2010 was released, but I found one at Dell that came with 2007 preinstalled. So I got that, then downloaded 2010 and chose to keep 2007.
So I have both working, but I have not done much with it yet.
I am still using my previous computer for real work, until I finish setting the new one up, and transfer my files.
Regards

John
